A little more than 100 people already gathered in downtown Grand Rapids for a police brutality protest.

Things have peaceful so far, but within the last few minutes there’s been an escalation in their speech.

No police officers in sight.

Many people are also stopping to talk to the officers about #GeorgeFloyd #BreonnaTaylor and #AhmaudArbery ’s deaths, but officers are not talking back.

Protestors tell me about 10 minutes ago police came out dressed in tactical gear and fired rubber bullets at protestors.

My photographer and I weren’t there but saw a mass of people running around the time
