Grand Rapids police say dive teams are clearing from the city after not finding anything in a search of the Grand River near where a woman went missing earlier this week.
Tekeyta Teasley, 43, has been missing since 1 a.m. Wednesday. Her vehicle was found that afternoon on Monroe Avenue near Newberry Street in Grand Rapids. Teasley’s cellphone was found the next day in that area.
Police say she has recently expressed unhappiness and stress in her life and are concerned she may be in danger. Teasley also recently deleted her social media profile.
She is described as standing 5-foot-2, weighing 105 pounds and having tattoos on her forearm and shoulder. A description of what she was last seen wearing wasn’t available.
