Band and orchestra students from a local middle school were lucky enough to get a sneak peek into Wednesday's contemporary classical music concert.
Contemporary classical music group Eighth Blackbird, made a guest appearance Tuesday at Chippewa Middle School.
They performed pieces from the concert they will be in on Wednesday night as part of the MSU Federal Credit Union Showcase Series.
Michigan State is hosting the four-time Grammy-winning music group as part of the Entrepreneurial Musical Artists in Residence program for MSU students.
The program enlists the help of Eighth Blackbird to assist students with their musical work, present feedback, and host workshops and demonstrations.
The series has been open for the past two days and will end with a concert at Fairchild Theatre Wednesday night at 7:30.
