Snyder takes part in White House refugee call

Posted

Governor Rick Snyder was on the phone with the White House Tuesday, taking part in a conference call about plans to bring more refugees into the United States.

The 90 minute conversation included governors from across the nation.

A spokeswoman for Governor Snyder says he appreciated the discussion and told officials he'd like more robust data on the refugee system.

On Monday, he announced he would close the door to refugees in response to terror attacks in Paris.
