Governor Snyder, Michigan DEQ hit with subpoenas

Posted

Governor Rick Snyder and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality are served with subpoenas.

It's tied to a class action lawsuit over the contaminated water in Flint.

Lawyers for the residents in the suit are demanding to see every single email, text message, and document regarding the crisis.

They are also asking for records dating back to January 2011.

The governor's office has not commented on the subpoena.
