Governor Rick Snyder famously chose not to endorse Donald Trump and pretty much refused to talk about the presidential race after that.
He kept that up on Wednesday when he released a statement about the election results that focused on Michigan.
He said "Michiganders voted to continue the state's comeback by electing common-sense leaders to the Michigan House and U.S. Congress."
He talked about the hundreds of thousands of new jobs created in the last six years and finished by saying "Now with resounding support from Michigan citizens we will be able to expand on this successful track record and continue working for all the people of Michigan."
