Gov. Rick Snyder will add another representative for Flint to a panel working on fixes to the city's lead-tainted water crisis.
An order he signed lets the city council recommend a member, subject to the governor's approval.
Snyder says testing shows the water system continuing to slowly improve, but the presence of unpredictable and random spikes of lead means Flint is not in compliance with federal rules.
