Governor Rick Snyder continues his week long trip to Europe. He left just days after vowing he would drink the water from Flint for 30 days.
The governor's administration says this trade mission trip had been planned since last year, and will include stops in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands.
Many Michigan residents wondered if the Governor would continue drinking filtered tap water from Flint while he is away. The answer is no.
His aides say Snyder has temporarily suspended the water pledge, because it wasn't practical to take the water with him. They say Flint remains a priority to the Governor and he will resume drinking the water from Flint when he returns to Michigan.
