LANSING, Mich. — Gov. Whitmer was busy on Tuesday in Michigan.

She attended events throughout the Lansing area and spoke on a number of topics.

At 10 a.m. she was at the Michigan Labor-Management Association Conference where she discussed her 2020 budget.

After that, she visited with people volunteering at the Capitol planting flowers around the Capitol lawn.

Then she headed over to the Brian J. Whiston Memorial Fountain to kick-off the "unofficial" start to summer for state employees.

Still to come - she'll be hosting a news conference on projects she hopes will create jobs for Michiganders.

That announcement will be held in Lansing at the George W. Romney Building press auditorium.
