Facebook isn't the only company collecting your personal data.

Google reportedly gathers enough single-user data in one year to fill more than 500,000 sheets of paper. It includes location information, browsing habits, and schedules that are then used to target advertisements to you.

Google says using "icognito mode" while browsing won't help. The best way to protect your data is to change your privacy settings using Google's "My Account" feature.
