A farewell party is on tap for Saturday for Michigan State University quarterback Connor Cook. The senior will enter the NFL draft next week.
Cook wants to say goodbye to Spartan Nation and is urging all of his fans to attend a party Saturday at Fresh Thyme Farmer's Market on Trowbridge Road in East Lansing.
Cook will sign footballs from noon until 1 p.m. He will then take part in a football toss game.
Fresh Thyme will have brats on the grill. There will also be face painting, live music and giveaways. The store is celebrating its one year anniversary in Mid-Michigan.
