General Motors is recalling some of its newest trucks and SUVs because the suspensions can fail.
The recall covers the 2016-2017 Chevrolet Silverado and the following 2016 vehicles: Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV; Chevrolet Suburban; Chevrolet Tahoe; GMC Sierra; GMC Yukon and Yukon XL.
A poorly welded upper control arm might separate from its bushing, which can greatly affect a driver's ability to steer.
Dealers will replace both upper control arms and ensure proper suspension alignment.
