Posted

If you go to McDonald's be sure to pick up a pair of mittens.

It's McDonald's "Give A Hand" campaign and it starts October 18.

Five-hundred McDonald's restaurants across Michigan are selling red-and-white striped mittens to support the five Michigan Ronald McDonald houses.

The houses are located in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing and Ann Arbor and help over 3200 families of sick children annually.

Customers can buy the mittens for $5 and proceeds will be split between Ronald McDonald houses and C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.

This is the 4th year for the campaign.
