We have new information on the changes happening at GM's Delta Township plant.
A General Motors spokesman confirms that the plant will be going offline so it can get ready to start building the 2018 versions of the Chevy Traverse and Buick Enclave.
500 of the workers who were getting laid off in May will be brought back after production resumes. GM announced it's cutting the 3rd shift at Delta in May because the production of the GMC Acadia is moving to Tennessee.
The company plans to shut down several plants for 10 weeks later this year to reduce inventory.
