Gas station held up at gunpoint

Posted

(Lansing)--Lansing police are searching for two men who held up a Citgo gas station at gunpoint Friday night.

It happened on the 4000 block of south Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Police say the two men walked in just before 10 p.m., showed a handgun to the cashier and demanded money from the register.

When the cashier refused, the two men fled on foot.

Officers tried to track the men down with a k-9 team, but were unsuccessful.

Police do not believe anything was taken from the gas station.

No injuries were reported.
