Gas prices in Lansing have risen 6.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.98/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy.
This compares with the national average that has fallen 3.1 cents per gallon versus last week to $2.91/g.
Including the change locally during the past week, Sunday's prices were 65.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago and are 5.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 4.8 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 58.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
