It might soon cost as little as 99 cents to fill up your tank here in Mid-Michigan. According to gasbuddy.com, prices in the Midwest are at a 12 year low.
This morning, pump prices are averaging about $1.45 to $1.49 in the Lansing area.
Gasbuddy.com says Michigan ranks 5th lowest in the Midwest when it comes to low prices. It has been at least 16 years since the State's average per gallon price was under one dollar.
Gas Buddy's Patrick Dehaan says the cheap pump prices are due to low oil prices.
