A mother and her two young children who were killed in a Jackson County car crash will be laid to rest Friday.
The funeral for Autumn Coffey, Kahlan Sky Jones, and Eli Orion Jones is scheduled for 5 p.m at the Leslie Funeral Home, 109 N Church Street.
4 year old Kahlan was a spunky little girl that was full of life, according to her obituary. She loved My Little Pony and Tinkerbell.
1 year old Eli was always smiling, loved playing with trucks, and had a fascination will cell phones.
Autumn, 26, was described as a bookworm who loved to read, a wonderful mother, daughter, friend and sister. She went to Northwest Schools.
The family of three died last Thursday after colliding with a pickup truck at the intersection of McCain and Dearing roads in Spring Arbor Township. Investigators believe Coffey ran a stop sign while heading east on McCain.
A petition asking for increased safety measures at the intersection has gathered more than 5,000 signatures.
