This years theme is "Chili From Around The World."
The cook-off is taking place at the Cooley Law School Stadium, the home of the Lansing Lugnuts.
This is the first year the event will take place at this venue.
Guests can sample chili in the outfield from dozens of vendors including local restaurants, businesses, non-profits and other organizations.
Calvin Jones with the Lansing Board of Water & Light tell us, "The ballpark is a great venue for us. It's a much bigger venue to have fun. We'll see people up on the screen. It's just a great venue to have. People can do other things, we'll have a sweet area where you can actually have some sweets. There will be many things that people can do, and with the amenities of the park, we just think that it's a great place to go."
The cook-off starts at 5:30pm and goes until 9:00pm. You can get tickets at the gate. They are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
