A court hearing is scheduled Friday morning for the Jackson City Councilman charged with assault.
A probable cause hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday for Andrew Frounfelker.
Police say he attacked a woman at an apartment last week.
Frounfelker has pleaded not guilty and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
