Local law enforcement agencies are warning drivers in Mid-Michigan about icy road conditions on Thursday, January 12, 2016 due to freezing rain moving through the area.

Ingham County 911
• Traffic advisory - Us127 NB near Saginaw St in Lansing Township is down to 1 lane due to an accident. Please avoid the area.
• Due to weather conditions motorist in Ingham County should drive with caution, slow down and expect delays.
Eaton County 911
• PLEASE SLOW DOWN AND USE CAUTION WHEN DRIVING. EATON COUNTY HAS SEVERAL ACCIDENTS DUE TO THE ICY ROAD CONDITIONS FROM THE FREEZING RAIN.
Lansing Public Service
• We are currently spreading salt on trunk lines, primary major streets and bus runs, and using underbody plows, please use caution around salt trucks.
East Lansing, MIchigan
• Road conditions are slick. Salt crews are out in E.Lansing. Please use caution while driving.
