LANSING, Mich. — On Saturday, tons of girls were made to feel like Cinderella for free.
97.5 NOW FM's 13th Annual Cinderella Closet held an event offering free prom dresses, shoes, and accessories to girls attending prom this year.
Organizers of the event say they hope it made girls feel beautiful...no matter the cost.
Becca Holandsworth, the lead organizer told News 10, "I really hope that the women get out of this experience how beautiful they are on the inside and out and that no matter what income level that we come from, that we all have an inner princess and that we can all bring our inner beauty to the outside."
Each girl was able to shop hundreds of dresses donated by large companies, and multiple community organizations.
