"Feed Greater Lansing" is making sure people don't go hungry this winter.
At the Meijer on Lake Lansing Road, people in need got free family food boxes.
The food went to families with school-age children, to help make up for the meals children usually receive while school is in session.
Depending on the size of the families, people could get about $40 to $75 of items.
