Adopting an older pet can provide them with a needed home for their elder years. Today we met Gracie, a 15 year old Jack Russell Terrier who was looking for a forever home.
Gracie is laid back and just wants to have a warm place to snuggle up to. She is vey sweet and is good with other dogs and cats.
UPDATE - Gracie was adopted late Thursday but there are many other great pets that need forever homes.
The Capitol Area Humane Society also has a giving tree project that is underway where they have many different products that they need to help the animals that are with them. You can stop by CAHS to take an ornament off the tree or you can call to donate as well.
