A former University of Michigan doctor charged earlier with receiving and possessing child pornography now is accused of inappropriate conduct with young patients.
46-year-old Mark Hoeltzel of Ann Arbor has been charged with transfer of obscene materials to a minor, enticement of a minor and production of child pornography.
He was arrested in February after being treated for sex addiction. A complaint unsealed then says a December search of Hoeltzel's home found a flash drive with 210 pornographic images, mostly minor females.
Hoeltzel's attorney, Raymond Cassar, wasn't available Monday but has said his client is presumed innocent.
State regulators suspended the pediatric rheumatology specialist's license in December. Hoeltzel practiced at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, before going to the University of Michigan in 2013.
