Demolition work stated today on what used to be one of Lansing's best-known restaurants.
The six buildings on the 2000-block of East Michigan Ave. are being torn down. That includes the former home of Emil's Italian restaurant.
The site will eventually be a four-story development of businesses and apartments called, The East Town Flats.
