Former Michigan State University President Lou Anna K. Simon was at the Michigan State Police headquarters in Dimondale Tuesday afternoon.

FOX 47 caught up with her, but she would not tell us why she was there. State Police and the Attorney Generals office would not comment.

Lou Anna K. Simon was president when allegations against former dean of osteopathic medicine William Strampel first surfaced.

There is an investigation ongoing as to how MSU and President Simon responded to those allegations. Strampel is currently awaiting trial on several charges of sexual misconduct.

Lou Anna K. Simon resigned in January during the height of the Larry Nassar scandal.
