LANSING, Mich. — Kathie Klages is scheduled to be in court on Monday.
Klages is a former Michigan State University gymnastics coach charged with two counts of lying to police in the investigation of Larry Nassar, one count is a felony.
At the last hearing the judge set a tentative trial date for July 8th.
Monday's hearing could contain motions filed that could push that date back.
At her preliminary examination in September 2018 Klages claimed she knew nothing about the accusations against Larry Nassar until the story went public in August of 2016.
However, two survivors say they told Klages long before that time.
Klages' lawyer said the fact that her client doesn't remember being told doesn't mean she is lying.
