The trial continues Tuesday morning for a former Jackson High School teacher accused of sending inappropriate texts to a student.
32-year-old Jonathan Hastings was charged with using a computer to commit a crime and promoting sexually abusive activity.
He was originally charged in May of 2015 after resigning from his position a week before charges were filed.
Several witnesses took the stand on Monday.
Testimony from investigators is expected on Tuesday.
The trial is expected to wrap up on Wednesday.
