Flu season is winding down, but it's not over.
The virus is still widespread in 14 states, mostly in the northeast, however, health officials say it's been a relatively mild season.
This year's season peaked in early march while the last three peaked in late December.
In those seasons more than one hundred children died of the flu.
So far this season there have been only fifty six deaths.
The Centers for Disease Control says the mild season is thanks to this year's vaccine, which was a good match for this season's strain of the virus.
