SAINT JOHNS, Mich. — If you need to get some flowers for Mother's Day, look no further than a fundraiser that helps victims of family tragedies.

A volunteer group that helps families get through tragic events will be selling flowers on Saturday.

The Clinton County Sheriff's office, "Victim Support Team," uses the money to pay for training.

The team provides a crucial service during a really tough time.

"Oftentimes people will lose a loved one unexpectedly, they have no idea where to go from here, who to contact, what to do, a lot of them don't have any idea how to cope with it and our victims support members will come to the scene when requested and from there they're able to help the families," Lt. Sean Dush told Fox 47.

The flowers sell between $25 - $45.

The sale starts at 7 a.m. in the parking lot of Barbers, Floors, and More on U.S. 27 in Saint Johns.

They're usually sold out by 8:30 a.m. so come early.

The fundraiser generates enough money to pay for training for the volunteers on the victim support team.
