A member of Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette's Flint Water Investigation team has resigned, after being arrested on a drunk driving charge.

In a statement, Schuette says Ellis Stafford was arrested Saturday night in Wayne County.

Schuette issued this statement: "I have accepted the resignation of Ellis Stafford. I thank him for his efforts on the Flint Water Investigation. Ellis and his family are in my thoughts and prayers in this challenging time."
