There are still people who can't drink their water without using a filter in the city of Flint.
That's why Mayor Karen Weaver renewed the city's declaration of emergency on Tuesday.
The original declaration expired Monday.
Weaver is also urging county, state and federal leaders to follow the city's lead and reinstate emergency declarations for Flint.
She says extending the state of emergency will let everyone know residents still need help.
