FLINT, Mich. — For as far back as our U.S. Department of Transportation database* will allow us to research, Flint Bishop Airport has come out “on top” in Michigan for offering passengers the lowest average airfares in the state. Beginning in the year ending 1st quarter of 2001 until the year ending 1st quarter of 2019, Flint passengers have enjoyed airfares an average of 28.02% lower than all of the other 5 major Michigan airports** combined.

Deputy Airport Director, Nino Sapone, “thanks to our airline partners, putting air travel within reach of as many potential passengers as possible has been a part of the fiber of this airport for almost two decades. We have every major U.S. airline alliance represented at our facility, so we can fly you virtually anywhere in the world in one stop or less. Allegiant, our ultra-low fare carrier, brings amazingly affordable nonstop pricing to five of our most popular ‘fun and sun’ Florida destinations. Our newest destination is Sarasota.”

American Airlines is set to launch their new nonstop flights to the Charlotte, North Carolina (CLT) hub on September 4th, connecting our passengers to American’s second-largest hub where the airline plans to operate more than 700 daily flights by the end of this year. The Charlotte route joins American’s current daily flights from Flint Bishop to Chicago-O’Hare.

Ultra-low fare carrier Allegiant returns their seasonal Ft. Lauderdale nonstops to its Flint Bishop portfolio on December 20th, joining its current nonstop service to Orlando/Sanford (SFB), Tampa Bay/St. Pete (PIE) and Punta Gorda/Ft. Myers (PGD).

Delta Air Lines continues its very popular route to Atlanta-Hartsfield (ATL) , and United serves Chicago-O’Hare (ORD) with more frequencies than ever before.

Tickets are on sale for all destinations now at aa.com, allegiant.com, delta.com and united.com. You can always link to their websites from bishopairport.org.
