The first snowfall of the season hit yesterday, causing problems for many mid-Michigan drivers.

Authorities responded to a number of crashes and slide-offs late Sunday night and even into early this morning.

Several crashes shut down I-96 for several hours Sunday night between the Lansing Road exit and I-69.

That stretch of highway has since re-opened. Lansing police say the highways are clear this morning.

Drivers may see some wet roads, but there shouldn't be too many slowdowns for your commute.
