UPDATE: Firefighters battled a fire at an apartment building in South Lansing early Friday morning.
Firefighters were called to Rivershell Apartments on Bayview Drive just after 6 a.m.
Fire authorities tell us no one was hurt and everyone got out safely.
No firefighters were injured.
We're told one of the apartments is a total loss, but the building itself is not entirely damaged.
