Santa arrived at Meridian Mall on Friday to officially open "Santa's Workshop."
The Jolly Old Elf traveled from the North Pole to the Central Fire Station in Okemos and got on a bright red fire truck to be taken to the mall.
"The Meridian Township Fire department is excited to partner with the Meridian Mall to deliver Santa after his long trip from the North Pole so all the children can see Santa and give him their Christmas wish," said Chief Hamel, Meridian Township Fire Department.
Santa's Workshop at the mall features a magical place for children to see Santa with a sparkling Christmas tree and a larger chair for Santa. The workshop is located in the Center Court in the mall.
Meridian Mall is located at 1982 W. Grand River Ave. in Okemos.
