EAST LANSING, Mich. — A fire is under investigation that occurred at the University Corporate Research Park in East Lansing.

Fire Inspector Blake Holt told Fox 47 that the fire started inside the three-story building around 5:15 Wednesday morning.

Holt says that one person was inside at the time of the fire but was about to get out safely when the alarm sounded.

They say a cause has yet to be determined. There were no injuries.

A Fox 47 photographer on the scene noted that there was smoke coming out of the roof of the three-story building when he arrived, but no visible flames.

The building address where firefighters responded is listed as 2727 Alliance Drive, which is just just south of Forest Akers West Golf Course.
