JACKSON, Mich. — Investigators are working to figure out what caused a storefront to catch fire on Memorial Day in Jackson.
Firefighters responded to reports of a fire in the 400 block of W. Franklin Street around 4 p.m. on Monday.
Firefighters from several departments were able to stop the flames from spreading to Frank's Finer Foods, the Jackson Fire Department said.
The Jackson Fire Department says part of the building that caught fire was under renovation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
