LANSING, Mich. — Early Sunday morning, a fire broke out at a Lansing church.
Firefighters were battling the blaze at Unity Spiritual Center on South Holmes Road just after 6 a.m
The Lansing Fire Department is asking that people avoid the area as they tend to the fire.
Officials tell us that the fire started out of a back window.
No word yet if anyone was inside the center at the time of the fire or if there will be any services or activities canceled Sunday because of it.
