A Lansing woman is scheduled to be sentenced Wednesday morning for her role in a brutal murder.

Amber Kohls pleaded guilty but mentally ill to second-degree murder last month in the October 2017 death of John Darnell Junior.

Kohls is the last of three people to be sentenced in the case.

Brandon Addiss was sentenced to at least 40 years in prison last month.

Matthew Green was sentenced earlier this year to at least 18 months in prison for helping dump Darnell Jr.'s body.
