LANSING, Mich. — There's a lot going on around mid Michigan this weekend --lets begin in DeWitt.
On Friday night, the 74th annual DeWitt Ox Roast is underway.
The family fun event starts tonight and runs through Sunday.
All kinds of fun for the whole family -- even a pet beauty contest.
Art feast in Old Town is Saturday.
The one day art festival takes place on Turner Street.
All are welcome and its free.
Be prepared though, there will be some closures on turner street between Cesar Chavez Avenue and east North Street.
That starts 5:30 p.m. Saturday morning until mid afternoon Sunday.
There will also be a peace festival in Jackson promoting solutions to violence and trauma.
Enjoy music, vendors and guest speakers.
This years festival will run Saturday from 3 until 8 p.m. at the CP Federal City Square.
And don't forget to come out and see your favorite News 10 on air personalities at Holt fest.
That takes place on the Cedar Street corridor .
The day-long festival kicks off with a parade.
It will have live music, an Elvis impersonator, food and a laser light show.
