LANSING, Mich. — The Fenner Nature Center is in need of volunteers to help with relocating.
The center is preparing the pond to be retrofitted for a new dry hydrant.
That means it's all hands on deck and feet in the water to capture the pond residents before the habitat has to be drained.
Volunteers can show up at the Visitor Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday this week to help.
Volunteers will be gathering and relocating as many fish, frogs, turtles, and even tadpoles.
You can reach out to the Fenner Nature Center at 517-483-4224.
