The Ionia County Office of the Sheriff is releasing today details on an accident between a FedEx truck and a pick-up truck from Friday night.
It happened around 6 p.m. on December 1 at the intersection of N. State Road (M-66) and Bricker Road in the Township of Orleans.
When the deputies arrived they found the FedEx truck and a white pick-up truck side-by-side in the ditch on the west side of the road.
The driver of the FedEx truck was able to get out of the vehicle without help. Officers had to assist the occupants of the pick-up in getting out. They were then taken to United Memorial Hospital in Greenville for further treatment of their non-life threatening injuries.
Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol as a contributing factor to this accident. It is still under investigation.
