A man is dead Wednesday morning after his car is found against a tree in Onondaga Township.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. at Onondaga and Stimson roads.
Deputies responded after a passerby called in to 911 that they saw a small SUV on its side against a tree.
Deputies say the car was headed south on Onondaga when it appeared to have swerved, leaving the road and eventually hit the tree.
25-year-old Cyle Michael RInckey of Eaton Rapids has been identified as the driver.
The accident is still under investigation.
