JACKSON COUNTY, Mich. — A fatal crash in Jackson County is under investigation after two people were killed Sunday morning.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened on US127 South near Loomis Road around 6:30 am.
They say a semi truck heading southbound crossed the center lane and collided with a jeep going the opposite direction.
The two people in the jeep were killed, 79-year old David Lee Riley and his daughter 47-year old Stephanie Lynn Eaker, both of Addison, Michigan.
Officials add that alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
