"It's like I don't have that in the back of my mind about when they're gonna catch this guy and if they're gonna catch this guy, you know?" asks Alvin Benson, Bruce Kevin Benson's brother.

Elated.

That's how he says he felt when he heard his brothers accused killer was behind bars.

"We don't have to worry about that he's still out there or that he thinks he's getting away with anything," Alvin describes, "we don't have to have those thoughts in the back of our head."

But that hasn't taken away the pain of losing his little brother:

"On the holidays you miss the laughter and just the fun that you had. You miss that stuff," Alvin describes. "You're kind of like why should I feel like being happy when he's not here, you know? But he wouldn't want us to think about it like that."

Kevin's niece, Deshaunda, is glad Juwan Deshawn Williams is in custody, but she doesn't know if it makes anything better.

"My uncle lost his life," she says through tears, "this boy--he will lose his life as well. Nobody wins. It doesn't bring my uncle back. It doesn't bring this mother her son back. It's just still a no-win situation."

Now, the family is looking forward to justice and what happens next. For Alvin that's one day reuniting with his brother.

"We were brought up to believe that death was just a temporary thing... Kevin believed that too and you know we'll see each other again," he says quietly.
