The family of a man Lansing Police say committed suicide in the city jail two years ago has filed a lawsuit against 12 officers.
Joseph Manning was found dead in a cell in August of 2013 after he was arrested on a charge of fleeing police.
The lawsuit claims police knew he had a history of mental-health problems.
Ingham County Prosecutor Stuart Dunnings cleared the officers of any criminal charges last year.
