The city of Lansing has teamed up with Meijer to help school children and their families over spring break.
Hundreds of families came out to the Lake Lansing Meijer on Tuesday to pick up groceries, free of charge.
It's part of a program aimed at making sure kids who receive free lunches at school have something eat when school is not in session.
Organizers tell us about 400 families received food.
