LANSING, Mich. — MDOT is closing a busy freeway entrance ramp in mid-Michigan starting on Monday.
The ramp from westbound Trowbridge Road to westbound I-496 in East Lansing will be shut down from 7a.m. through 7 p.m. until July 18th for preventative maintenance and repair work.
Drivers will be detoured onto U.S.127 South to Dunckel Road where they can turn around to get back to 496 West.
MDOT-Lansing says the work will be done in two phases, with stage 2 being announced near the end of stage 1.
The roadwork is part of a half-million-dollar repair project.
